System stopping prematurely - no filtered water is produced

When the bottom tank is inserted into the system, the front panel light should turn blue. If it doesn't turn blue, please click here to troubleshoot the yellow blinking light.

If the machine is stopping prematurely (within 1 - 3 mins) without depositing any pure water into the top container at all, please try the following:

  1. Unplug and reconnect the wiring connector to the Control Board Control Board Connection
    • Run a cycle to see if the issue is resolved. If not, follow to the next step.
  2. Check the bottom tank gasket to make sure it's not damaged and is correctly seated in place. Please see detailed instructions by clicking here.
    • Run a cycle to see if the issue is resolved. If not, follow to the next step.
  3. Uninstall the Ft-82 Pre-filter and re-install it to release the airlock from within the filters. Please see detailed instructions by clicking here.
    • Run a cycle to see if the issue is resolved. If not, follow to the next step.
  4. Make sure the flow restrictor is not plugged up. Please see detailed instructions by clicking here.
    • Run a cycle to see if the issue is resolved. If not, follow to the next step.
  5. Remove the FT-82, and place a cup under the filter opening and turn on the system. Does any water come out of the opening where the FT-82 Filter is usually installed?
    • If Yes, then it means that filters are plugged up. If you haven't already, please replace pre and post-filters(not the same as reverse osmosis membrane).
    • If No water comes out, then it means most likely that the pump diaphragm is raptured(the pump will make noise but no water is pumped) - the pump replacement is required: Zero Installation Purifier Pump UP-7000
