How to remove pre-filters using a strap wrench and fix an airlock

Airlock within the system will prevent it from functioning correctly, and the system will not filter any water.

Follow the steps below for an easy fix. A strap wrench is optional.

1. Open up your back panel and locate the pre-filters.

2. Remove one of the pre-filters (FT-82 or FT-92) inside the unit by twisting it off. It can be done with a wrench if you're having difficulty.

3. Reinsert the removed pre-filter by twisting it back on using the directions given by the arrows.

This will resolve the airlock issue within your system.
