Yes, the PPH system works by coating hardness, and Onlisoft media neutralizes the hardness thus making it unavailable to physically bind with the environment.
However, since the hardness is still present in the water, there still will be some spotting from water droplets once they dry. They will be easily wiped off or cleaned since they no longer "cling" to the surfaces.
The same is true with salt-based water softeners, with the only difference being that the spotting will now be caused by salt, which again can't cling to the surfaces.
