How to Replace the Check Valve
1. Unplug the machine and take off the screw located behind the top tank first. Then carefully place your unit over the edge of the table/counter so that the bottom screws are accessible and the unit is upright.
2. Once all the screws are out, you will be able to slide out the metal frame from the plastic shell. The frame doesn’t need to come out all the way. All you need is enough space to access and disconnect the check valve behind the frame on the left-hand side(if facing the back of the unit).
3. Disconnect the tubing one side at a time and connect the replacement part in the same direction as the old one before disconnecting both ends. This will ensure that the replacement goes back correctly.
