How to Replace the Solenoid

Solenoid replacement:

1. Unplug the machine, remove the front panel and disconnect the control board.
2. Remove the top tank.





3. Unscrew 7 screws total, 4 on the bottom, 2 in back, and one on topĀ 4 screws on the bottom of the unit.JPG
Frame screws.png4. Once all the screws are out, you will be able to slide out the metal frame from the plastic shell halfway. There will be wires connecting to the front of the plastic shell that will need to be disconnected in order to completely free the frame and remove it from the shell.
5. Once the frame is out, the solenoid is easily accessible. Disconnect the water line from the existing solenoid and reconnect it to the new replacement, water line tubing connects to the same side as the wires.
6. Secure the new solenoid with 2 screws to the frame at a 45-degree angle

7. Reverse the steps 4-1 above
